🔒 What is Screen Recording Permission?
Starting with macOS Catalina, Apple requires apps to have Screen Recording permission to share your display. Luna Display uses this permission to extend your desktop to a secondary device.
Note: Luna Display does not record, store, or transmit the contents of your screen. This permission only allows your display to be mirrored to another device.
⚙️ How to Enable Screen Recording for Luna Display
Click "Enable" when prompted during Luna Display setup.
A system pop-up will appear asking to grant Luna Display permission to record your screen. This prompt only appears once. Click Open System Preferences.
In the System Preferences window, check the box next to Luna Display.
Relaunch the Luna Display app if the screen does not display immediately. In most cases, the connection should work right away without restarting.
