😴 Why Won't My Secondary Mac Sleep?

If your secondary Mac isn't going to sleep while using Luna Display, a few macOS settings may need to be adjusted. Here's what to check:

🖥️ Turn Off Exclusive Fullscreen Mode

Disabling Exclusive Fullscreen Mode makes it easier to return to macOS and put your secondary Mac to sleep.

  • Quit Luna Display on your primary Mac

  • Open Luna Secondary on your secondary Mac

  • Click the Luna Display menu (top-left corner) and choose Preferences

  • Uncheck: "Exclusive Fullscreen Mode"

  • Quit and reopen Luna Secondary for the change to apply

  • Once Luna is open again, use Command + Tab to return to macOS and manually put your Mac to sleep
