🔍 When to Use This Fix

You'll see these symptoms:

  • 🚫 Luna logo doesn't appear when launching Luna Secondary

  • ⬛ Completely black screen on the secondary Mac

  • 📋 Luna menu bar is missing on the secondary Mac

⚠️ Affected systems: Macs running macOS Ventura 13 or later (including future betas)

🛠️ Steps to Fix Black Screen

Step 1: Close Luna Secondary

  • Quit the Luna Secondary app completely

Step 2: Open Terminal

  • Open Terminal (Finder > Applications > Utilities > Terminal)

Step 3: Run the Fix Command

  • Copy and paste this command into Terminal and press Return:

defaults write com.astro-hq.LunaSecondaryMac LNExclusiveFullscreen -bool NO

Step 4: Restart Luna Secondary

  • Reopen the Luna Secondary app

  • ✅ You should now see the Luna logo and have access to the menu bar
