Workbench Free Plan & Upgrading to Pro

Learn about Workbench's free daily limit and how upgrading to Workbench Pro unlocks unlimited access.

Updated yesterday

🆓 Workbench Free Plan

Workbench is free to download and includes 30 minutes of remote access per day.

This is a great way to try Workbench and see if it fits your workflow before committing to a plan.

⚠️ Note: The daily 30-minute limit resets at midnight UTC. The reset time may differ from your local time depending on where you are.

⭐ Workbench Pro

For unlimited access, we recommend upgrading to Workbench Pro. Pro removes the daily time limit so you can connect to your Mac for as long as you need, whenever you need it.

🔼 How to Upgrade

You can upgrade to Workbench Pro directly from within the app. Tap or click the upgrade prompt when it appears, or go to your account settings to manage your plan.

💡 Note: Subscriptions are processed securely via Stripe.

Upgrading on Mac

There are two ways to start the upgrade process from the Mac app:

  • From the startup popup: When you launch Workbench, a prompt will appear offering the option to upgrade to Pro or continue with your free 30-minute session. Click "Upgrade to Pro" to proceed.

  • From the Mac picker window: The "Upgrade to Pro" button is always available at the bottom of the Mac picker window, so you can start the upgrade process at any time.

Clicking either button will take you directly to the Workbench subscription checkout page. Once subscribed, the upgrade prompt will no longer appear and the paywall will be removed.

Upgrading on iPhone

On iPhone, the upgrade prompt appears after your free daily minutes have been used. If the in-app purchase option is not available in your region, upgrading via the Mac app is recommended instead.
