⚠️ Important: Workbench requires its own account. You cannot use an existing Astropad Studio account to sign in, so you'll create your new Workbench account during the app setup process.
Step 1: Download & Install
Download the Workbench app for your device:
Mac: Download Workbench from the Workbench downloads page
iPad: Install Workbench from the Apple App Store
💡 Note: Workbench is a single consolidated app per platform. No separate primary/secondary apps needed.
Step 2: Create Your Account
We recommend completing account creation on your Mac.
Open the Workbench app on your Mac. You'll see a Sign In window on first launch.
Click "Create Account" to get started.
This will open the Workbench sign-up page in your browser.
Choose your preferred sign-in method:
Continue with Email: enter an email address and create a password
Continue with Apple: sign in with your Apple ID
⚠️ Note for "Hide My Email": If you choose to hide your email when signing in with Apple, Apple will provide a @privaterelay.appleid.com email address to our system. This is how your account will appear if you ever need support, and we won't be able to see your original Apple email.
Continue with Google: sign in with your Google or Gmail account
Approve any sign-in permissions from your account provider if prompted.
