📏 What are Pressure Curves?
Pressure curves adjust how your Apple Pencil responds to different pressure levels. Control stroke thickness and opacity based on how hard you press.
💡 Key options:
Soft curves: Light pressure creates full strokes quickly
Hard curves: Need more pressure for full opacity/thickness
Custom curves: Draw your own pressure response
Smoothing: Adds stability to reduce jittery strokes
Pressure Curve Types
🪶 Soft Pressure: Soft pressure curves make strokes respond quickly to light pressure. You don't need to press hard to get full stroke thickness or opacity.
🪨 Hard Pressure: Hard pressure curves respond more slowly. You'll need to press down harder to reach full opacity or stroke width.
Creating a Custom Pressure Curve

Pressure Smoothing
🎯 What is Smoothing?
Pressure smoothing helps soften and steady your brush strokes. It adds a little "drag" to give the feel of drawing on paper, making strokes less jittery.
⚙️ Smoothing Options
Default: Balanced experience that works well across most desktop apps
Custom: Adjust smoothing amount to your preference
Increase: More stability, steadier lines
Decrease: Rawer, more responsive feel
