How do I set up Calendar Sync in Rock Planner?

How to sync your system-enabled calendars on your iPad with Rock Planner.

Updated this week

Rock Planner syncs with any system-enabled calendars on your iPad and displays your events directly on the timeline of the Daily Planner layout.

Calendar syncing happens automatically once permission is granted, so no additional setup is required.

🔄 Enable Calendar Syncing in Rock Planner

  1. If your iPad isn’t already syncing calendars, you can sign into your calendar accounts from the iPad Settings app: Settings > Calendar > Accounts

  2. Open Rock Planner and grant full calendar access when prompted.

  3. Tap Allow Full Access when prompted to give Rock Planner access to your calendar events.

  4. Rock Planner will automatically sync and display any available calendars.

💡 Tip: If you skipped the calendar access prompt, you can enable it later under: Settings > Privacy & Security > Calendars

⚙️ Customize Your Synced Calendars

If there are specific calendars you don’t want to appear in Rock Planner, you can disable them individually in your iPad’s Settings app. Rock Planner will no longer display events from those calendars, but will continue to sync any others that remain enabled.

⚠️ Note: At this time, Rock Planner does not support selective calendar syncing within the app itself. All calendar management is handled through the iPad system settings.
