Calendar Features Not Showing in the Upgraded Version of Rock Daily Planner
What it should look like:
When working properly, enabled calendar features appear at the top and on the right side of your planner page showing information like current conditions, temperature, meal planning, exercise, and other features you've turned on in settings.
Free vs Paid Features
Some calendar features require a paid Rock Daily Planner subscription, including:
If you're using the free version, you won't have access to these features. You can upgrade for $19.99 in the app to unlock them. This will give you access for the full year.
Why Aren't the Calendar Features Showing on the Upgraded Version?
Step 1: Check your Rock Daily Planner settings
Open Rock Daily Planner settings
Make sure the features you want to see are toggled on
Step 2: Check location permissions
Go to your iPad's Settings
Scroll down and find Rock Daily Planner in your apps list
Tap on it and look for Location
Make sure location access is set to "While Using the App" or "Always"
If Rock Paper Pencil doesn't appear in Location settings:
This means the app never requested location permission during setup. Here's what to do:
Delete Rock Paper Pencil from your iPad: Don't worry - your notes won't be deleted and will sync back after reinstalling!
Reinstall the app from the App Store
Go through the setup process - pay close attention near the end when the pop-up request should show
When prompted, tap "Allow" for location access
Your notes should sync back automatically
Important note: If it doesn't populate for you, you may need to reinstall the application for the location prompt to appear. If it doesn't show up the first time, delete and reinstall again.
Still having issues?
Make sure you're running the latest version of Rock Daily Planner. Check the App Store for any available updates before trying the steps above.
If calendar features still aren't showing after reinstalling and allowing location access, ask to speak to a member of our team and we'd be happy to help.
